DandAD // Design Is About Doing // Idea One

This was my favourite idea form my design sheets. I think that if done correctly this could be executed really well. I like the idea of the raindrops as imagery but i tried to keep it simple by using the small dashed lines as a pose to the raindrop illustrations that i tried and failed with on my previous attempts. I think this will keep it subtle but also pretty obvious when text is added.

Started with the dig dashed rain drops...

Decided that it would work better if i made them smaller to fit more on the page. 

Attempting to overlay type onto the imagery but i'm not sure this works just like this. 

Adding the lines in on a slant seems to work better and helps symbolise rain more than the vertical ones. It's a bit cliche but cliche works in this case i think. 

Still something missing so i will continue to experiment. 

Different variations on adding the white box. Again these are interesting but not what i was going for at all really. I will have to come back to this design later.
