DandAD // Design Is About Doing // Back To The Drawing Board

I wasn't happy with how my design were translating digitally. I went back to the drawing board and created a few more design sheets. This time i was looking at adding imagery into the situation and see what i could do with that. I also did some more variations of type as i think it would be a powerful poster if it was heavily type driven...

Much more happy with these now and am confident that they will translate better digitally. I'm going to  select a few of my favourite ideas from these and try and work them into finished designs. Then experiment more digitally. I still like the idea of big type and subtle imagery or minimalistic imagery. I think it will make the poster stand out and recognisable but also not tacky and in your face. It will be subtle enough to make people want to read on...
