Responsive - Verify Data Protection Group - Branding & Identity

Brief

As a little bit of freelance work, i've been working closely with the co-owner of Data Protection Group, Verify. I was asked to give the company a re-brand from top to bottom. This included a logo, colour scheme, stationary which included a business card, letterhad and envelope and compliment slip as well as an online identity.   They have offices based in the UK but travel all around the world so it was vital for the company that the logo and brand would be easily translatable across many languages. The logo had to stand out, be clear and concise. I was given an old logo which you can see below and told that they wanted the same purple/white colour scheme. I was also given the instruction that they would like to incorporate a 'tick' within the 'V' in the logo but was given freedom to role with whatever i felt nessacery other than this.

Here is the original logo I was given.

Logo

This is the final improvised logo that I come up with. I think that it meets all that was asked of the brief. They wanted the 'tick' to be incorporated which i have done and also the colour scheme, as well as the gradients and drop shadows. I think i've brought this logo into the 21st century whilst still keeping the clarity. The stroke of the tick is well balanced and dosent look out of place within the logo. It is still clearly readable and legible. In the end, the compnay went with 'Calibi' as a corperate typeface from the   variations i gave them.

Development

Here is some development stages of the brand and logo. I sent out this PDF to the company in order to give the owners a clean cut presentation that was simple to understand and equally as simple for them to choose certain elements to keep within the design such as colour scheme, corporate typeface and layout.
