DandAD // Design Is About Doing // Idea 3

When researching Kessels, i knew for one of my posters i anted to experiment with photography as he uses a lot of image and type layering in his work. After researching i realised that i could get some cool photographs by photographing rain drops on glass and maybe creating some blurry effects and quite interesting patterns or abstract shapes.

As i'm in Leeds, i knew i count on there being rain at some point so i waited it out with my camera until it did (waited around 5 minutes). These are just a few photographs from the shoot...

My favourite are the bottom ones. I really like the dark into light gradient of the natural background and the blurred image behind the raindrops. The rain is in focus which is perfect. I think i can create something really nice by layering type on top of it.
