Alphabet Soup - Illustrator Workshop - Creating More Letters

I carried this process through the other letters. Creating them in the same way. I can see this alphabet really working and coming together now. I want to stick with this idea as i feel it has tons of potential.

It's useful to bring the anatomy of type into this brief. After learning about the whole anatomy...

Ascenders, Descenders, Bowls etc...

I have found that i can use the exact same parts of some of the letterforms to create new ones. for example, the curve on the bottom of the 'B' is the same as that one on the bottom of 'D'. This really saves time when your creating a full typeface and the more letters i create, the easier it is going to be to form the rest of the letters.

Before i moved on with this alphabet i wanted to create the letter 'S', reason being that i found that this may not work in the same style as easily as all of the other letters...

I managed to get his work fine, was just a little bit more difficult than the rest with the long curved edge. The finished letterform looks really nice though, i am really pleased with the result.
