Responsive - Feel Good Drinks Co. - Design Sheets

Here are some of the more successful ideas from my initial design sheets. I wanted to focus the imagery down to shapes, if there was any used on the bottle at all, and I also wanted to simplify the logo, to appeal to a more business related audience, as mentioned in the brief. I didn't want to take away from the fun ethics of the company and also the healthy backgrounds of the drink so this is why i wanted to focus on pictograms of the front as well as bright colours, focussing on the colour of the liquid inside the bottle and trying to tie that in with the label. I also felt that no more than 2 colours used on the label would make for a much cleaner design aesthetic :-

I like the idea of possibly die cutting the shape of the fruit out of the label, which would cover the whole bottle. The colour of the fruit would be that of the liquid inside the bottle. Really simple concept, but could help the product stand out on shelf and also make the flavours and health aspect of the drink shine through, appealing to the senses of the customer.

This was a more cursive, type driven idea. Not something I would like to go for, but an idea to play with .

This was surprisingly one of my favourite ideas. Stripping the logo back to basics using weight of type to emphasise the 'good'. The idea is to print this onto transparent bottle so that the colour oft eh drink makes up the most of the packaging and appeal when sat on a shelf. The logo printed in white, could add a clean design aesthetic and healthy fun look to the drink.

I really wanted to push these two ideas. One with the die cut fruit shape on the front but also this more experimental idea of having the fruit shape stretch across the front and back of the label. The whole bottle would be covered in white, leaving this gaps that will reveal the colour of the drink underneath. The white colour will add and up-market elegance whilst also keeping the fun, clean and healthy look. The bright colour of the drink will help the drink stand up and the logo will emphasise the ethics of the company.

Also playing around with the idea of having a rectangular tap that will come down over the drink. Could be simple but effective.

Trying to use the shape of a smile to create die cut elements of the drink that are not obvious making it tacky, but add to the bold aesthetic of the drink.
