Design Production - Mutton Quad - Responses to Feedback

So after the crit, I decided it would be important to respond to some of the feedback that I had recieved. The main points raised where;-

- Create a full working website
- Experiment with other colours or stocks for stationary
- Change the interior design to a more homely feel rather than stark and clean.
- Make more digital mock ups to give a clear sense of the branding.

As I had already nearly completed my website, I thought I better take a look at the colour scheme to see if anything else could possibly work better than the red and white. Personally, I can't see me changing this now as it's what i had clearly envisioned in my head, but I thought it wouldn't do any harm to give it a go...

___Colour Schemes

I tried a few different neutral colour schemes thanks the help of Adobe Kuler. I felt that the more neutral colours would relate to food more than bright contrasts. I mocked these up on the stationary I had already created to see how it would work in context...

I particularly like the turquoise colour on top of the light grey, this could work as a possible solution across a whole range of products.

The red and blue clash too much, so I don't think that this colour scheme could fulfil the potential across a range of products.

I quite like these neutral colours but it dosen't seem to 'pop' as much as the red. I need at least one bold colour that can carry the whole brand through a range of products.

Orange on grey is another possibilty. It stands out well just like the red, but I don't think orange is appropriate for my target audeince.

Green on off white is another possibility, but doesn't really hit on peoples senses as much as the red. The red represents food and will make you hungry in an eating environment.

___Interior / Exterior

I then focussed more on the interior and exterior to try and give the restaurant branding a more homely feel inside and keep a clean look outside. This would be simple enough, it was a case of mocking my ideas up in a different environment to see how this would work...

___Further Mock Ups

___Apron

Apron Mock-Up. The stamp idea would be brought through to all aspects of the brand. Here, I have placed it so that it falls of the edge of the apron, giving the impression that it could have been stamps.

____Staff Uniform

I decided to propose the uniform by taking these images of a plain red polo and mocking up my branding in white. This helps give a clear sense of how it may be worn throughout the restaurant.
