I have also ben looking at some other fonts to see what would work well with this theme. I have been playing around with some shapes to see if i could make something that represents native americans but is a little more abstract and contemporary...

Experiments making patterns from type.

Adding my home-made native font to the equation. The red/blue lines are meant to represent the feathers on a war-bonnet from side view. I hope this comes across although i know the link is really subtle, i was going for a more abstract look.
