Proverbally Yours - Message and Interpretation - Mid Project Crit Feedback

After my mid project crit, i was reasonably happy with the criticism and feedback i got. From the two designs i brought forward, everybody really liked this idea of the type being the lead of the dog, symbolising that 'chipped dogs never get lost'. I am also happy with this design and am pleased to be pushing this design further.

Other things i had to work on was the format of my piece. I was asked to think about the audience which would be all pet owners who are signed up to my particular vets. Therefore this would definitely be relevant, which is obviously  good thing.

Also, format-wise, would the piece be something that is looked at, the information is read, then thrown away. or is it something that the customer would want to keep and refer back to. Initially i thought that it could be disposable, so in that case just a front and back flyer with the info on would be fine. However when i think again, i would like it to be something that the customer could keep, maybe pin on the fridge or noticeboard to inform them that they need to get their pet chipped.

By doing this, my idea was to create a fold out, 3 page flyer that had a really nice graphic and type on one side. The type on one side and the lead travelling across all three pages onto the last page, so that when they initially open it up they would have to follow the lead when unfolding it to find the dog at the end. This would also work for my idea of them pinning it onto a board, because it aesthetically looks really nice, but also serves a purpose!

The group liked the idea of my mailing list including the image of the dog but also the rest being very professional, neat and clean cut! Also the envelope also being pretty simple, made from the same stock with possibly the logo of the dog on there.
