MISPRINTS

The printing process was quite difficult and a bit trial and error as i had never worked that way before. Double sided printing and using different stocks. Personally, i love the mistakes and misprints and will definitely be keeping them all. Some prints, depending on what setting i had my paper on added more texture to parts of the print and the blue and red colours overlapping on the double print also looks quite beautiful. A really good mistake!

I eventually got it to print exactly how i wanted it to after a couple of attempts, put am pleased i went through the process i did in the end, even if it did mean spending a little bit more money!

FINAL PRINTS

CRAFTING

Close ups of my final print. I printed my design onto A3 front and back. that left me a border so i cut it down to make my three 16x11 sides to the flyer. I had to carefully measure this up then cut it out using a scalpel. I also used the back side of the scalpel to carefully score the folds in my piece then created my flyer... (see below)

ENVELOPE - CRAFT

I wanted to keep my envelope design really simple. Just print on the front side then use the plain stock to create and craft the envelope so that the print is on the front. I made a basic template in photoshop so i could see where to print the design onto the stock. I then manually re-drew the template back onto the paper, cut it out with a scalpel then again scored it, folded it and glued it together to create the final piece... (see below)

I am really pleased with all the elements of my final piece. The stock i chose works really well, looks professional and fits the purpose. The design works from the envelope to the design on the actual flyer and the overall craft of the product has turned out really well.
