We just used parcel tape along with the markings underneath the stock to make sure everything was lined up correctly before pressing.
Bottle Inner Packaging
This was the stock we used for the inside packaging. Bright white sturdy card, enough to be able to hold the bottle without it feeling lose or falling over within the box. The emboss came out really clean which was a relief meaning that we didn't have to back once again and do this.
After Chris had put the nets together through folding and glueing, we had this piece of packaging, with a circular hole in the top, just enough width to hold the bottle still inside the box.
Tester Strips
We also decided to emboss some tester strips that the perfume can be squirted onto in a shop environment. From the research I took out, I realised that the most effective ones had little or no ink printed onto them, and was in fact either embossed or foiled to give a luxury effect. We decided to go for the emboss to match the theme of our packaging...
They are the same dimensions as the bottle in length and the same width as the bottom of the bottle holder.
Bottle Label
For the bottle label we used the Black Stock and plan to use a white elastic band to secure the label as well as a coloured sticker around the back. You can see in the images how this might look (on a rough scale)...
These also came out pretty neatly. We liked them so much that if we have time, we might go ahead and create business cards using the same idea, with a colour stock sandwiched in between.
A rough example of how the label might look.
