Design Production - Mutton Quad - Embossing Experiments

Today I did some experiments with embossing some thick card stock that was a possibility to be used for my stationary. I wasn't sure wether this would work but had a bit of free time so thought I would try it out to see if I could get a clean look. I originally cut my logo out of mdf using the laser cutter then used a press on wet stock to create the impression. However, it hasn't come out as well as i'd of hoped as there is marks inside and around the  impression. It would obviously work better with a copper plate but time is a factor at the minute. Here's the results, I don't think i will use this on the final products but the option is there if I need it. I experimented on a couple of different stock thicknesses and colour. The more 'pulpy' stock seemed to work better, where as the pure white stock ripped slightly...
