Creative Marriage of  Type & Food. Perhaps a little too specialist but would be a rally un concept to pitch.

Solid Concept. Consider how people interact with menus and if it is tear/stain resistant.

Type as restaurant  and Type as part of the food, Great Idea. Anatomy of Meat with type. Bowl, Face - use of words. Research further into type.

Stamps and Branding of the animal coming through is a strong visual that would work well.

Anatomy of type is a specific focussed target audience.






5 Things you still don't know about your content


- How I can get the anatomy of type and anatomy of meat to work as a clearer concept.

- What kind of restaurant category will I fall under? Price Range and Placement. Select Dishes?

- Are there any existing similar restaurants?

- What makes a successful brand restaurant within this category?

- I need to find out more about the links between Anatomies.

- Research further into web design for restaurants and branding as a whole.





5 ways your audience may interact with or come into contact with your work?

- Within the Restaurant.

- Menu's, Receipt Holders, Business Cards, Letterheads, Interior and Exterior, Signage, Packaging.

- Through the Website.

-  In the street - Signage to attract potential customers, posters and flyers and an Advertisement Campaign.

- In Brochures, Newspapers, Magazines - Advertisement.





What I now think the 5 problems to be solved for this brief are, and 5 reasons why they need solving. 


1. A clear connection and concept through the use of anatomies of type and food. I need to solve this because the concept and idea of the restaurant, if specialist, needs to be clear so that the customers will understand the complete dining experience.

2. A Strong Visual Identity that can make the restaurant stand out and still bring in elements of the concept behind the restaraunt. It needs solving because it needs to be strong enough to be instantly recognisable and make the customer want to dine there.

3. Generate all the print and web based products that will make up the identity and existence of the restaraunt. Menu, Receipt Holder, Business Cards, Letterheads, Interiors and Exteriors, Packaging, Web and App Design. This needs to be solved because it will be the most important part of creating the existence of the brand and restaurant.

4. Find and photograph an existing restaraunt/s which I can clearly mock-up my ideas for interior and exterior plans. This needs to be solved in order to solidify my concepts so that it is presented in the best possible way it can be.

5. Research more into existing restaraunts that will be in competition with mine. Analyse what is successful and what isn't about these restraints and use this as a starting point for my brand. Also research full into the anatomy of type and food and create a clearer connection between the two. This needs to be solved in order for my restaurant to be realistic and fit in the real world as something unique but functional.
